good rubber with a probably good tread but still on a kenda casing. also telonix- dh trail in so-cal, not really trials oriented though big squar-ish edged knobs do wonders for us.

Big, tall, soft knobs do not make for good traction on rocks. It will probably be a great tire once you've worn through half the tread.
