They're 36 hole.
But why would you ever want to use such a rim? You have the the great choice of exactly one tire, which is not on par with all the good 26" tires out there. Same goes for the rim quality.
Get some Monty adapters, run a 26" rim and be happy!

Monty rim is a little on the soft side based on the number of dents in my rim. Tire is fine in dry grippy rock or concrete but not very good for slippery logs or wet rock. Also, the rim/ tire combo seem a little on the heavy side. Why can't they make it in Eagle Claw compound?!?!
thanks for the help, so 26" feels fine just use the frame adaptors any pics of the frame with adaptors, cheers ....

I'm currently making a 26" wheel for my Monty. Reason: my Monty 25" wheel has a silent clutch hub. Also, tire selection is limited.
I'm building a Hope Pro II Trials with DX32 rear wheel.
The brake adapters move the Maguras out 1/2" farther from the axle, lining the brake pads up with the 26" rim. I made some, but I'm not sure how well they'll work until I build my new wheel. Tim at trialsin.com may be able to get some for you.\\

I used a 25" for quite a while. It feels nice with the one inch smaller diameter when upping stuff. But yeah the rim does tend to break, my first one broke and Monty replaced it for free, never had a problem with the second rim, just make sure you keep the spokes tight.
