I've noticed that after riding for a while my alignment is off. My wheel starts rubbing on the opposite side of the drivetrain. My question is about the hub. I noticed a little tab that in on the end and I am not sure if that is supposed to go up inside the drop outs or kinda underneath the bolt that holds the wheel on? My wheel seems to sit crooked in my frame if i don't have the tab up inside the drop out. Hope this makes sense. Thanks!

What kind of bike do you have?
My Echo hubs have tabs that go inside the dropouts. Every once in a while my wheel will shift in the dropouts and if I do a strong pedal kick, I feel the tire rub slightly. Whenever this happens I just loosen my hub bolts, make sure it is centered, and tighten them back up.

I have a Echo Hifi. So is that tab supposed to be up inside the drop out or down underneath? I have to lossen it up and then adjust it as well... just trying to avoid having to do this if i can.

Yeah, sorry. At the moment I can only post from work cause my computer is down at home. Basically the when the axel sits all the way in the dropouts the wheel will rub on the frame, so I have to adjust the wheel so it is straight and then tighten it up.
I noticed the tab on the hub and when it sits up inside the dropout now, it seems like it evens things out. Just wanted to see if anyone knew if this was ok to do or not. I'll try to post pics if I can.

Tab should sit up in the dropout. I think its supposed to stop the axle spinning when you tighten the bolts.
