I suddenly have an urge to build the red 231 frame in my workshop.
Thanks for that post. That was actually nice to see a video that mixed in a good interview with the riding, makes a change.

Wow, Kenny Belaey hasn't got the chain tensioner. And Vincent Hermance doesn't use the chain tensioner, too. Hmm... Does chain tensioner need at 26" bikes? I don't think, Belaey's 231 bike has 116mm spaced like 20" bike (i don't know about Hermance's koxx boxx). But what tensioner and chain?
Btw. We have seen TRA without chain tensioner.

They changed the UCI rules last year so a stock bike doesn't need working gears or a tensioner anymore. The thing that's wierder is that Kenny seems to be using a try-all front brake(or at least the rotor looks a lot like try-all) and even wierder is that he seems to be using a 6" or at most a 7" rear rotor(because the front rotor is bigger than the rear rotor). When he joined Monty he said that he wasn't sure about going dualdisc because he wasn't sure if it was powerful enough, now it seems he doesn't even need a 8" rotor. That might be because his frame doesn't take a bigger rotor than 7"(Monty stock bikes come with a 180mm Magura marta) but i'm sure if he wanted to get an 8" specific disc mount on his frame he could get one.
Long story short - Kenny thinks that a 7" disc is enough for the rear. Fuck all the DD haters.

Keep in mind that Kenny is only doing a demo. Don't assume that this bike is exactly what he would compete on.

Exactly!
I ran dual discs on my cannondale and PX and loved it, although I wouldn't say I was competing to keep my world title or anything. Maybe my speed trials title.

His english is fine, he just got a bit of a belgian accent, but i can't see why that is a problem as he is perfectly understandable
But enough about the way he talks, the way he rides is way more interesting :P
His riding looks so controlled, like he is one with the bike, i've never seen the human pivot thing so fast aswell :run:
Funny how he tries to make up for the sketchy 360 by doing some weird hand gestuares (sp) :wiggle:

I did actually understand what you meant, but I was refering to patrick, sorry should have pointed that out.
Could see thousand of comments about the way he talks so i thought it should say something about it:dunno:

Patrick and I were both saying he speaks very very good english.
"The 24-year-old rider from Belgium set a stunning world record last year by performing 31 trial bike 180-degree turns in a minute." ?

My points will be short and sweet:
1) That bike looks sweet, dual disc doesn't seem to be holding him back!
2) His english is quite good.
3) Very athletic riding. I love watching him ride
What the hell, he speaks better Engrish then I do
