less rolling resistance, woot. how would know how much grip you have left?
Not a bad idea for pure, dry, street trials.
A friend of mine here rode hookworms in a natural comp once.

when you start seeing threads they're done

i think they make it easier to tap up a wall. less resistance when your front tire hits the wall. prob be better for stock...

lol, i've seen tires like that, but their just tire that have been rode for 5 hours a day for a whole year :D
