Well..... I was in Cleveland for a couple days of my spring break to ride mostly Ray's MTB park. Well on the first of what we had hoped would be two days at Ray's my buddy messed up his knee a bit so we never got in a second day. (And didn't take any pictures on the first :dunno:) Well I met up with a couple guys at Ray's (Eastside, Hopsalot, and a few others) and hit up a little trials on the second day while my buddy did some HW. Here's a couple pics with my point and shoot. My apologies for chopping off the tops of heads sometimes. Haha :momaru:

Decent. I wanna see that some pics of that gt. Looks sweet.
Is there anything worth riding with a trials bike at rays? I keep thinking about going up there, but I dunno.

I would not go with only a trials bike. They only have a couple small boxes right now and you can hit some of the technical MTB lines. Other than that, not much. I went primarily to jump with my urban bike and brought the trials rig because there was room. I guess the trials section at Ray's used to be bigger but most of it was taken over by jumps. They plan on expanding the trials section again though....

Thanks for putting up the pics. We'll have to get some better one's next time you are in town....or when I go up your way. The reason the trials area got smaller is because nobody other than the locals were riding it. But this year we recruted more riders and that is why we hopefully are getting more space. So if everyone want's more trials at Ray's than show up with your bike:D
It was nice meeting you Dan......

We actually did ride the lakefront for a while. I left the camera in the car though. :hsugh: That was my first time riding ANY natural. All I can say is "Wow". It is much more difficult than I thought. You need to actually take time to find a line through boulders instead of "This ledge looks good".

Yea, The rocks definatly take some scouting to get around. The weather was pretty nice. It was about 50 or so with some sun....It was a tad windy by the lake though. At least the gardens it was alot warmer due to having a wind shadaw from the tree's/ houses.

I'm the one on the Monty (Dan). I think I'm actually smaller than the threadstarter (Dan), definitely a couple inches shorter, but I was still wearing quite a few layers I didn't take off after we left the lake/rocks area, and that sweatshirt is huge. That's kind of funny, I've been called scrawny but never "larger". :)
Nice meeting you Dan, the pictures turned out pretty good. Thanks for posting.

Side hop to double back flip ;)
Just a little side hop to front wheel. Then a wheel switch. It does look like a funny picture though.

Honduras looks beautiful, especially that one picture where the chords just sort of disappear in the distance. How long where they stretched out?

In the distance shot, those cables go 895 feet....and close to 55 mph...although i'm not entirely sure that's the stretching were asking about.

Haha!! I actually brought up doing that while we were there. He almost tried it and said he thought he could, but just wasn't feeling it. No need to try something you aren't feeling just to risk injuring yourself this early in the season.

Yea, I really wanted to do it. I was soooo close. The gap isn't even that bad. I've done alot bigger gaps. But getting a sprinkler head in the ass just wasen't sounding so great. Mentally I just wasen't there that day. I rode indoors at Ray's for the past 6 months and the change of scenery is throwing me off. I will definatly hit that gap after my next few rides there.
