just finding some answers to some questions

1.is it true that long bikes (for mod or stock) have the advantage of the "nose-in sidehop" technique over shorter bikes?

2.is the nose-in sidehop technique easier to reach higher heights?compared to the full sidehop to two wheels technique

2.what is the best way to bed in brake pads for hs33?

3.other than the wellgos mg-1 and the try-alls is there any other platform pedals which are light and good ?

:wavey:

1. Not true, I can use that technique on short mods just as easy.

2. I like the two wheel technique...but to my bad side I use the front wheel.

3. I ride them on a fresh grind, and soon they are great.

4. DMR V8?

4. I've got a set of these http://www.universalcycles.com/shopping/product_details.php?id=4453&category=478 They are light, tough, and really thin. Pretty decent.

1. I used my front wheel more when I was on a stock vs. now when I'm on a mod.

2. However, when I go for a really big sidehop even on the mod I generally use the front wheel.

3. Like James said, with a grind bedding in really isn't a problem if you set them up well.

4. Mag-1's FTW!

i found a long(er) stock bike easier for the "nose in" technique
2 wheels takes more effort and power

yeah fresh grind and drag the brake a bit in your yard to wear in pads

PS. did anyone else notice there was two number 2's...?

1. i suck at side hops. at least i think i do. i max about 38" bad good?:dunno: and i use the front wheel for a more sure landing (rear wheel placement).

ive been riding some diamont back magnesium sealed bearing pedals that i got from my lbs for about 30 bucks . ive been runing them for about 6 months and they are light as hell and i have lost one pin so far.i would go with those.

1- no

2- that depends on how you sidehop, if you always sidehop to two wheels, then no, if you always sidehop to front wheel then yes

3- you don't need to if they're set up right

4- dmr v12 / dmr v12 mag
