Hey, I need a rim strip for a rear echo rim. Webcyclery was out. Anyone (particularly in CO so I can avoid having to mail shit) have one or know where I could get one?

Cheaper than real rim strips, lighter, and you can do as many rims as you like. Just make sure to put the first layer 'sticky side up' if you have drilled rims.

yea i got that stuff at work. i was hoping for something a little more aesthetically pleasing (ie black). I am going to use whatever I can till I can get a real rim strip.

I used to just pick up ribbon or fabric from a fabric store, and use that as a first layer, with strapping tape over the top. Hawaiian print fabric FTW

You want black? Buy yourself some black duct tape, eastside is using it right now.You just have to put 2 layers, first one with the sticky side up.
