Rider/film maker Joel Davis has been filming the trials scene in Oz for the past 2 years for this DVD. It has (IMO) the most comprehensive coverage of last years UCI Worlds in Rotorua, Riding from Australia's best on tonnes of natural, at demos, in the street and at national and state competitions. there's also riding from Thomas Ohler in New Zealand, Uk's Jack Meek here downunder, crash footage and some exciting camera angles.

DVD will be out in the next month or so

That footage of Thomas came out really nice, the Worlds footage looks like it will be baller too! Shame I didn't get to see Akay ride for real though, his riding was looking mint on the teaser.

BTW patrick there is 20mins+ of awesome coverage of the world and the riding from the others is not far off that standard. The camera techniques used in the film I'm yet to see in any other trials vid, I'll leave it up to Joel to give any more detail, like where the name came from etc.

Thanks for the positive feedback to my DVD, to answer a few of the questions:

RTWolf, Yes mainly using adobe products.

biketrials25, There will be an NTSC version for North American countries so you can enjoy it on your televisions.

chronic, The name came from an article in an Australian mountainbike magazine which asked "is trials dead?" this kind of offended the trials community here in Australia so I guess the name is a big "up yours" to the MTB magazine. During designing the artwork Simon (SLB) and I were having a lot of fun with the horror theme and it just progressed from there.

Friction limit, I have contacted various trials specific bike shops in the USA and the UK to work on a distribution deal so you should be able to order it from within your country if in North America or the UK.

Sethman, The DVD main feature is just over 1 hour long, 20 minutes of which is from the World Champs and includes interviews with Vincent and Kenny, there is also just over 30 minutes of bonus footage.

It goes to press next Monday guys, Black Phoenix films are doing the distribution in Australia & New Zealand so it should be in your local bike store in a couple of weeks, if they dont have it ask them to order it in.

It will be available from Tarty Bikes for the UK & Europe and for the USA and Canada I'm still negotiating.
