He could do all the cool shit, kick jump and look like he could kick anyones ass, but when it came down to a bar fight he would always get schooled. Martial arts is only affective when you follow the rules of engagement for that discipline.....or your bruce lee, which they are not.

I have a black belt in karate, and first off, that guys form is terrible. His kicks definitely have no power, and being able to do a one-legged tornado kick isn't going to get you very far in a fight.

if your trying to be subzero you suck i know plenty of people who would wipe the floor with those skills you guy should check youtube martial arts videos before bringing out your own, try free running might improve your skills

My point was just that in terms of protecting yourself, the stuff that was shown is pretty much useless. I would call that ballet or some form of dancing over anything else. Lets take that spinning leg sweep thing from the video for instance. If someone tried that shit on me, after i finished laughing, I would jump on his ass and pound the shit out of him.

There is even a guy that gets clipped in the video (the guy that is holding the pad). He gets hit with a round house or wtv and deosnt even fall...there definetly is no pwer in those kicks.

No offense or anything. whoever the guy is can jump really high, and i guess flips are cool.

ok guys, can't speak about the other guys in the video! but andy (the guy who tried the auerbach) is active in several fighting sports, tai-bo, kick-boxing, kung fu, taekwondo and even capoeira and he does it about 12 years now! This vid wasn't meant serious it's just a FUN teaser...!

Andy is doing competitions very well....so believe me he would kick your ass

Its obvious that this video wasnt about showing rough street fighting techniques or hard kicks. Its about the looks.

Complaining about the real use of the shown moves in a real fight or how much power he put into those kicks is like watching a Jet Lee film and going "no wayz, that movezs would be unefficient in a bar fight, there is no power behind this backflip", or watching a Joe Eigo video and saying "that triple flip spin would be useless in a fight"

Its also funny how some people can judge by a "1min fooling around and doing tricks clip" how good of a real no-rules street fighter the person is and how they would destroy them.

As soon as some martial arts stuff is posted, people start comparing the skills and bring in the "street fight" thing. I guess the guy's intention wasn't to show some sort of "kick ass moves". It was more like a fun thing, nothing too serious...

Beside that I have to agree that the moves were not that precise and powerful. I watched lots of martial arts stuff, mainly Taekwondo trainings/demos, as my girlfriend is a Taekwondo Pro. So I have already seen better stuff... but it's ok.

Nowhere did i ever mention street fighting. I said as a Martial Art Karate or wtv that was seems pretty useless because there is no ground technique, which is where 80% of fights end up.

yer friend does tournaments... thats excellent, does he do well? good, any of them involve take downs or submission? didnt think so.
