yes it is, I'm finally switching to a disc brake in the front and I'm not to familiar with the whole disc hubs. It looks as though it has the mounts for the disc to attach to, however I wanted to make sure I was correct before I dropped a whopping $14.00 on it :greddy: .

I ran this hub with a disc for 4 years between 2 different bikes with no problems with the hub at all. Re-packed the bearings once, thats it :)

That hub is terrible. I broke quite a few axles on it. Fixing axles is not the magor issue though as it happens every 6~7 months. The threads on the axle dig into the drop outs of the fork and after a while mess them up, so that the wheel doesn't sit straight. I finaly got a WTB hub of cambria for around $30 that had a smooth axle and rolls much better.

You could always take the axle to a bench grinder and grind the threads on the axle ends down a bit, so that they aren't that sharp to cut into your dropouts any more.

That sucks, we'll see what happens. I picked it up from Cambria as well....it cost $14.00......I didnt see any $30.00 from WTB??? I'll keep an eye out on the frok issue!!

Not bad hubs, except for the unsealed bearings.
I say this, because they never feel as smooth as sealed ones, and can cause problems such as cones coming loose etc.

Hope XC FTW?!

if you treat your front hubs like a red headed stepchild, you could always swap out the qr axel to a bolt on. it wont snap, but will bend giving you more time to repair.

It is extremely easy to swap the QR axle on a Deore hub for a bolt-on one. Ask your local shop to get you the axle and nuts.

Like I say its only $14 so i expect to get what i pay for.........greatly appreciate the feedback fellaz!!!!!!!!:bigthumb:
