your pads are fucked if you used the brake with oil on it. get new pads and metal contact cleaner and clean the rotor thoroughly.

Isopropel alchohol, soak the pads in a dish, then take a rag with alchohol and scrub it.
Once you do that a while put the pads back in then burn them off.

This stuff works fuckin great for cleanig pads and rotors. Stonger than alchohol.

dude torch your pads. i got break fluid ALL over mine and did that. just torch the backing and it will make like a green flame and it will burn itself off. when it burns off let it cool and take some sand paper to it to get any char off of it. then clean your pad with rubbing alch and you should be fine.

That's what I did too. A little bit of sanding afterwards wouldn't hurt either.

torch ur pads with a blowtorch until they're red (make sure all the oil is really burnt off) then they should be good, alcohol on rotor like others said

damn straight, just buy new pads in all occasions.

does anybody know what using a blowtorch on your pads would do to the adhesive that holds the pad to the backing? (thats a serious q)

i have done mine about 10 times and there fine. i would hope that the adhesive can hold up to alot of heat how hot do you think DH would get the pads?
