My mate Glen from work was out going to the movies on Friday night, sees this guy riding a strange bike. Calls me up and asks what my bike had on it, I told him and it was exactly what was on it when it was stolen. The guy on the bike trys to leave but Glen tells him hes not going anywhere with the bike. He said he just bought it, but wasnt really bothered that he was going to take it from him, then the guy was whinging about how he was going to get home, so Glen gave him 5 bucks for a bus ticket and he left.
I now have my old bike back!
Its got all the old parts on it, nothing has changed, except they have sprayed wd-40 on the disc brake, the rear v pads are worn down to the metal and generally feels like its been ridden by an arsehole.
So what should i do now?

That looks a lot more like smackie cum to me..... Might take some scrubbing :run:
I think you ride a lot better on the new one. Get that Mini I gave you going and throw it on the new one and it'll be killer. As for the old one (or whichever you decide not to keep) it's really your call. Let the charity roll on I though I say.... :dunno:
Ride it as is at the next worlds...

or sell it...whatever tickles your nipples.

That is cool. Reminds me of something that happened at the old bike shop I used to work for.
We had a Norco 250 stolen from the shop. Didn't think we would see it again but we knew that only a couple had been sold in the area so we told our customers if they saw someone they didn't know riding a 250 to let us know. Lo and behold one of the guys sees a dude with the bike and "convinces" him to bring it back to the shop. He swears he got it off a mate but when we offer to help him out with a new bike if he makes a statement he disappears, no suprise.
Did you report it to the police AK? You should let them know that you found it so that they stop looking for it now....
Well done. I have never heard of anyone recovering a stolen bike before. Buy a lottery ticket....

congrats AK. Whatever happens, buy your mate a beer or 24. Karma has smiled upon you and you must respect it. As for the bike, sell it for a bargain to some newbie. After cleaning it up...

Smackie is slang for a heroin addict. Smackie piss, by extension, is the same gent's urine.

I have got the cum off it, cleaned the rotor and cooked the pads and its seems to work fine! Im still deciding which frame to keep. I will keep the charity going but not sure of the best way.
Oh and smackie piss is heroin addicts urine, which is 1 part blood to 9 parts sulfuric acid.
I had a feeling your bike would show up one day AK, I think your new one is better though :hs:
i'd sell the new one so you can sit down again
take the best of both and sell what's left. maybe wash off the remnace of ass hole and get it painted :)
Peace

Thats fucking awesome!
Whatever frame you pick just make sure you whack the disk brake on the bike you keep...
Sell the other one.
