View Full Version : WTB: Stock Fork
Need a replacement fork for a 10 years old Monty B-231
Has to be a threadess 1.25", aluminium, magura 4-bolt mount.
Not looking for a Monty branded fork absolutely. Suggestions of a good-fit in currently sold forks of other brands is welcome (as I might end up having to buy new)
Thanks.

1.25? 1-1/8 is 1.125.
Just to clarify.
Confirming that what I need is 1.25" (1 1/4")
I think it's a couple years later that 1 1/8" became common on the Montys.
Most of the online stores I've browsed don't specify the diameter of the forks they sell. I guess today's standard in trials is 1 1/8" and that's why it's not really specified.

or you could buy a new headset that reduces to 1.125
then you could have your pick of any fork

Yes, sounds like an alternative... Do you have any idea who would make such a headset ?
I went to FSA website, they have "headtube reducers" from 1.5 to 1.125 but nothing for 1.25 to 1.125.
I'll keep searching.
