some scuffs, but it was never assembled. BRAND NEW. My jack flash destroyed itself and its more of a necessity to have a geared street bike right now.

Monty Frame, green/white, 4 bolt maggie rear compatibility.

I'm very interested in that rear wheel. Is it true and round? Any big dings or dents? How are the threads for the cog? Are the bearings smooth and axle straight? What is the rim width? If it's from an older Monty, it should be the right thing. If all are good, PM me - I want it!

threads are fine, its true and the threads are clean for the cog, has some grease on it from when i had placed an 18t FW on it, but otherwise excellent.

the only 'issue' is i dont have the spacers (1/4"?) to affix it to the rear drops. whats in the pic is exactly how i got it.

I have an '01-ish Monte wheel with a Quando hub now, but it's in tough shape. The locking collars and spacers may be the same and I could take them off my current wheel. Same with the bolts, which I see are missing. Would you be able to get a close-up of what is there? I can't quite see any detail.

Thanks,
Kathy

Thanks for the close-up picture - it helps a lot. That doesn't look like my hub, so my fittings may not work. Mine is sealed bearing with a hollow axle and locking collars, and that looks like a loose ball bearing hub with a cone/locknut set-up. I think I'll keep looking for a sealed bearing wheel. Thanks for your time.

Kathy
