hey guys I got a simtra proto-frame last year in about december...

I threw all the parts that I had on it and this was the result

wonderful orange forks

note horibly shotty drive system...

well my drive was barely holding together. The sprocket was being held on by bolts in the end cause the cranks were completely stripped

my orange fork finally developed a crack...it had held up for over a year after I bought it third hand so i give it some props...

anyways here is my now finally decently speced out bike after some much needed aditions

some of the newer specs added were:
px knifen fork
dx 32 rear rim
zoo! cranks and eno freewheel
rennen tensioner and kmc chain
echo stem and bt bars
non home made booster that actually works (echo)

thats basically it...its been treating me well so far. Its not like all these crasy echoed out bikes that are perfectly colour coordinated but I got most of the parts relatively cheap (-=

heres the one pic i have of me riding...(old bike though)

You can drill 3/4" holes in you DX32. Mine has held up pretty true for 6 months, although it has a lot of small flat spots around it. I could have kept it tensioned better though.

Gunner - Nice bike! How much does it weigh?? I have just recently turned into a weight weenie and want to replace my Control with something lighter, and I was looking at the Simtra. You like??

Simtra is heavy. I weighed mine in at 4.7 lbs.

not a wieght wennie by any strech of the imagination...ive never actually wieghed my bike...

Holes are fun so i put them in my rim (-= They are only 1/2" and don't really do anything to lessen the wieght or weeken the rim...

I always loved how this thing came with canti mounts

I love your bike. Kind of makes me wish I would have gotten the blue one instead of the grey.

Oh well.
