Well thanks to thedman I was able to get hooked up with a decent mod here. Profile rear mini bmx hub. DMan Hooked up the frame and fork. Trialsin.com provided the rear rim, ZHI 36h (awesome quality btw) and the front tire; got the redline tensioners, black spokes, and blue nipples from danscomp. webcyclery had the echo mounts, bonz cranks, and fsa bb. The rest of the parts where whatever I had laying around. Time for pics.

p.s. I stole some of the pics from thedman's original thread to show the before and afters. First two are his the rest are mine. I just pulled stickers off for now but It's gonna get powder coated this winter.

350 shipped. and other than the few scuffs, this frame is in very good shape.

p.s. Ideas for powder coating color are welcome. I was thinking just doing black (kinda overused these days though) and having custom echo stickers made in blue. Then gradually just going black and blue for the whole bike.

mmm. see that's look nice and clean and I think that's what I'm gonna do. I'll wanna get echo stickers though. Probably a modified version of the stock ones and have them printed blue. I think it would look nice. sort of how the koxx, and czar stickers come in different colors.

actually it's nothing special. just a Remington 597.

the Bushmaster AR15 is in the storage shed. mmm, extended fluted barrel, and everything I own has a modified trigger, I like em at about 1.5 to 2 lbs. Also got an SKS hangin out down there. Kindo fun if you want to run around and feel like your in WWII but not that accurate or easy to shoot.

I got that TryAll tire from Elan when Factionbike was still going. Wear is pretty good on it. Much better tire in the rear than the Maxxis I think. I just like the rebound on it more. and way stickier on anything.

yeah, the wd-40 I used to pull the stickers off shines it up real nice like too.
I didn't have any goof off or anything. I think I'm gonna do black; black bike and blue........stuff.

I agree, black is over done. Looks too much like adamant. I like a good deep shine red. Not the candy apple crap, like blood red, that changes colour according to the angle of light.
