Pittsburgh trials!!!

If anyone who reads this is in pittsburgh, please help us get a trials group going. We have urban rides all over the pitt, cmu campus, the north side, southside and downtown. That's fun! However, what I need is more trials people to ride with! I just built my first real trials rig. I have been using all kind of urban bikes to do trials with, and finally bought an echo control. It is amazing!!!!! In 5 months when it gets nice out again I will be a much better rider. (Thanks to Ray's) Until then we must brave the cold and go hop around on what we can find! I get better from riding with other people who I can learn from. We ride tue. and thur. night @ 7ish. Meet at the shop! the phone # is 412-681-1310. I am orginally from Pgh, and I still go back a couple of times each year. I spent many years in Oakland... You have a shop there now? Give me some info; I'll be back there in a few weeks.

I lived in pittsburgh over the summer and was always looking for a person to ride urban trials with... too bad i didnt know about you... well at least until my bike got stolen!!!! (if you see a young (13 years old ish) dark skinned kid riding yellow and black (flames) custom painted NORCO team trials single speed (xtr derailur) with a white surly fork... kill him.. or offer him $50 and i'll pay you that plus shipping to get it back to me... please!)

yea tho... there is a kid named Mikey he's a pretty good rider. he works(ed) at Pittsburgh pro bikes (in squirrel hill)... stop in and see if he'd like to ride... thats my help to you.

i coulda sworn i was the only damn trials guy in pittsburgh back when i was starting out. if i'm ever home for an extended period of time and have my bike ill come ride with you guys

OH MAN!! I'm totally down for a ride whenever! Hey Bob, I believe we've met once before at Flagstaff or arround the CMU campus. Are you guys up for a ride sunday morning arround CMU/Oakland/Anywhere earlier arround 9 or 10? I still work at Pittsburgh Pro bikes in squirrell Hill, and I will be in the shop on sunday from 12-5 so I was thinking maybe a ride before work. Post in the midwest forum if your planing to ride at Rays, we have a few riders who can join you at the park. Try making a trip out to Cleveland in the summer as well, we have some killer break walls on the lake.
