I have a 128mm bottom bracket.
My new WI ENO will not fit. It rus against the bottom bracket cup.
I switched the 21mm washer from the non drive to the drive side- it still rubbed.
I ground the tabs off :wtc: until they were at or below the level of the green lock ring- it still rubbed.
I went to a hardware store to find a 21mm washer- on the way, the one I already had fell off.

So
I think if I have 1.5-2mm worth of these washers on the spindle, it will work.
I have no idea where to find them.

don't you want a BB spacer?

it that what you're looking for?

a bb spacer won't change the distance between the end of the spindle and the bb cup

this problem will be present whether the bottom bracket is mounted on the bike or not.

Whenever I need something I can't find I call these guys; if they don't have it they'll know where to send you.

so in effect you need a wider BB spindle?

or a different crank arm? I don't see another choice, I'm just not getting it I guess.

If you put additional spacers in there won't the crank bottom out before it is pressed on?

Can you get some pictures? From what I am understanding, you are trying to move the crankarm farther down the spline?
Not a good idea... (if that's what you are doing)

You can get 20 or 22mm bb spacers for cranks at www.danscomp.com

I think he's trying to space the crank out on the spindle. wouldn't that make it terrible weak? hmm.

Bad idea, more pressure, less contact. Works better with isis than square, but bmx spindles are designed for this, typical isis bbs are not at all.

The crank came with a spacer already on it. It happened to be on the left side to start.
The original spacer was 1mm. I machined myself a 2mm to fit on instead. It works like a charm now. Hopefully it holds up.

most come with one spacer, usually one on both sides. i guess another mm won't hurt it a ton, definitely wouldn't want to go like halfway out.
