I currently run the marta on the front w/ 160mm rotor(ob my downfall) and find it lacks the locking power. Spongy lever feel, not to mention the lever isnt built for impact(granted I havent wrecked mine yet)

My next front brake will be a hope trials....Really how could you go wrong, the brake has trials written all over it.
No actual ride time on the hopes, but hey, god hates a coward

I've ridden Magura Louise in 160 and 180mm rotors. They have great stoping power. I just recently switched to Hope trials and they are amazing. They modulate and feel similar to Maggie's, but when you lock them up....they lock! I've only used the Hope's for 4 weeks, but I would buy Hope.

I like seeing the positive feedback on the Hopes. That's what's coming on my Simtra. :-D

might be getting the hope afterall! :) midwest bike trials had to order the brake (since i ride moto style) and magura is being really slow about it. The guys at midwest are great tho! highly recomended!!! www.midwestbiketrials.com (http://www.midwestbiketrials.com)
