The thick one is from the new Echo team CNC mod fork.
The other one is from the old team.
Niiiiiiiiiiice.
The new fork feels way stiffer.

Pounds don't look like that, and we don't get one pound notes anyways, only £5, £10, £20, £50.
So if it is a counterfit dealio, it's not a very good one

It should theoretically be 67% (1/8" vs. 1/4" thick) stronger. But depending on where the stress lies on fatigue charts, it won't necessarily last 67% longer.

everything breaks. i went through an urban once by the disk mount before the steerer broke, once in the steerer after about 4 months. im on one of the new echo forks and i havent been riding nearly as much as i used to. the fork is feeling much less solid after 8 months of riding- pretty much going to break it soon.
and yet i had a koxx forxx for over a year and a half of hard riding. i rode a px superlight kniffen for the same time (still around as a trusty backup fork). they had steel steerers and were about the same weight as these new thicker walled echos. why it would be so hard to just use a steel steerer is beyond me.
