Hey,
I dont supose anyone has a rear (iso disc) hub floating around?
I blew mine tonight and dont have the cash yet for a hope or king.
36 or 32 hole is fine as I have rhino lites in each...
Something cheap and used that will last me a month or 2 would be great!
HEEEELLLPPPP! I cant go riding till I get something... :(

Hey, that sucks to hear about your rear hub. I don't have one, but Shimano do make an $80 hub retail, its called the Hone rear hub, it has a 10mm axle as well for added strength, but only has like16-24 e.p's. The problem with running this hub is that you need to buy the Hone rear Derailleur, because that has to fit onto the axle, but it does improve rigidity. Otherwise maybe have a look for a QR XT rear hub.:)

thats for your idea's, I'd rather just spend a bit on a semi-flogged out 2nd hander though if anyone has something? The hub I had only had 20 ep's and I was finding it very hard... so I'm gonna spend the dosh on either a hope trials or a king when I can afford it... just need something in the meantime so I can continue riding...

Never, never, never use a shimano rear hub if your going to be serious about trials. Lets not even get this discussion started.

Bad news.... Although I am not surprised. FYI my hope pro II trials was only AU$250 inlcuing shipping. so don't waste too much money on a temporary solution if you are going to get a better hub soon.

I have to say too that the Hope pro II trials absolutely rocks. I am loving mine...

:werd: yeah get the Hope, save yourself a lot of money in the long run and a lot of lost riding time.

I went through 4 deore hubs, 2 XT's and an LX client clutch before I got a third hand king which must be 5 or more years old now and is still going strong. Hope's look like the cheaper next best thing

Having said that I have an almost new complete wheel: rhino light on a deore I'll sell for $150 if you're desperate

I have a Deore XT on my STP1, and gave that a thrashing, came loose after a while, but its probably best to save up that extra money for a Hope hub.
