I went to the bikemotion event in holland this weekend, was great http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif
some amazing riding went on there, had camera problems so i couldn't get alot of footage though
there are 3 riders in the vid:
- Kenny Beleay, think you all know him http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif
- Rick Koekoek, dutch pro rider, number 10 in the world, hes the guy on the mod
- Wesly Belaey, pretty amazing as well http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif

the quality isn't that good, so is the filming because it was quite crowded
edited this is bout half an hour on windows media player, so don't expect anything amazing
The first song is Decending by Scars of life
Turn up the volume at kenny's demonstration, there is some nice music running in the background (sleeping awake by P.O.D)

That would be Wesley Belaey ;) And yeah, he's definately got some skills.

At first Kenny didn't seem that comfortable but he certainly got better towards the end of the vid...

Hey buddy.. I've been busy at school.. Don't get out riding much at the moment... Sucks ass...

I'm actually considering going to the states and study.. Probably in '08..
My school has some sort of arrangement with 3 colleges. In Baltimore, Santa Monica and i Seattle.. Would be cool riding with you guys sometime :D But i'm still only considering since it might be quite expensive..

How are you doing? Considering koxxdays next year?

Kenny has only had his bike a couple of days, ofcourse he is uncomfortable . Aswell a the bike not beeing ideal to him , he wont be comfortable before he gets his first prototype i would reckon ..:)

Nah i know. It's too bad he left koxx though... Would have been cool seeing him ride again next year at koxxdays, but that's how it goes.. I just hope he will be more satisfied with Monty...

;) well maybe for a change, the difference between those two, wasn't that big...

As for moves, 8:40 looked pretty God damn smooth to me..

8:16 was sick too though........

That was an incredibly painful and uncomfortable video to watch.

To save anyone else grief- just go to 8 minutes and play from there.

The way he turned around on the beam from facing down to going back up was absurd. I couldn't figure out what he was going to do and after he did it I was more amazed. Never saw that before. I guess the rear disc holds pretty well.

I also noticed that he seemed to be bunnyhopping a lot. I never realized that he used that move so much. That bike must feel really short to him because other than up the side of the car (which he didn't get quite right) he didn't do any front touch ups.

I think he will definitely need a different bike sooner or later. I don't think that bike will excel on UCI sections. But with Kenny, you never know.

Its good to see him running dual disc, and I hope he likes them. If the rear disc can hold Dani, they'll hold Kenny. I hope he gets a longer bike soon though...

He has always been a huge bunnyhopper...especially on anything flat.

agreed...very original move..amazing skill, and he did some other great stuff too, but its like that bike is only suited for half of the stuff he normally does..

at the end of the video was good, those bunny hop to front and hooks looked very high!
i hope he will be ride better with monty(6)

How come we saw Wesley on an MBK frame?
was it a MBK at all?:?
As said before me this bike is not really close to kenny's original geometry...
Especialy the chainstay lenght differs much!
But nice to see him sidehop 135 but as i remember Gratz there he has also sidehopped that hight so i'am supprized he wrote on his site that it's he's new record....
Dual disk will be great for he's smooth riding :bigthumb:

I think I know Rick Koekoek. He was sometimes in Stadtlohn, Germany riding, wasn't he? Great rider, make some videos of him. :wiggle:

hmm could be, he is at competitions alot, he is indeed very amazing, he did a 125 cm sidehop over a bar, with alot of space left, and also very smooth
and i don't know rick personally i just saw him riding there, ill try to get some more footage of him on the next event, ride or stuff like that
