It wasn't before I cut and mounted the new fork that I realized it was the wrong one.
Anyone use a stock on a mod?
Echo team fork is around 360, this is 400.

True, but theres enough clearance to fit a stock wheel.

True, but theres enough clearance to fit a stock wheel.
thats how it was meant to be..
unfortunately I can't say the same about having a stock fork on a mod though.. you could try it..

Hey, remember Veritas?
Their fork was the size of a stock fork. The thing was huge.
In fact, I feel like you could have put a 29er in that stupid fork! Just joking...
With this in mind, its probably a terrible idea.
If you don't think so, sell your bike and buy a Veritas. You would be saving mad rupees, and effectively eliminating your ability to learn to ride.

onzas and ashton mods come with stock length forks, the only differnce is they welded the mounts lower (like that zoo above)
so it is deffo rideable, but mod length forks are better if you can get them.

I think TRA used a stock fork on his Koxx XTP 20" in the august 18 video. You can see this in 3:54.

Raising the handlebars and increasing the weight of your front will make it slightly harder to do rear wheel moves as your weight has to go farther back to balance, thus working your arms more. The bonus is easier bunny hops and dynamic moves are easier to launch into. I could see it being good for street/bmx style.
