I'm looking for a new front disc brake seeing as how Magura doesn't support the Clara anymore and I blew my master cylinder. I was hoping to keep the cost of the new setup low. Perhaps the Avid Juicy 7's or a Marta? I'm open to suggestions.

I second the BB7 vote. Cheap, strong as hell and reliable.

you won't have a problem with the bb7. They're excellent brakes.

The hope mini trial will be grat... my second favorite is a martha caliper with shimano deore lever... this convinations is actually use by a lot of spanish riders because the lever gives a better control feel with the brake and the 06 montys comes with martha... actually I´M using a shimano deore lever with a old louise caliper... it works great!! actually someone there try a deore lever with hs33 someone has tried this?? hows the feel??

something i would really like to try is the hs33 on front like benito uses with the calipers on the back of the fork...it would be bad ass

HS33 on front works fine, just a little less modulation. A little lighter too probably.

Got my BB7 on today with an XT lever and I'm loving every second of it.
