Im lookin for a tryall freewheel in the US. I guess trialsin could get them? Or is it even worth it? Not sure on how it will hold up, Havent hear much about them. Are they servicable? What bearings do they run on? Or should I just go with the eno and grind the tabs.? lotsa questions, any replies appriciated.

I've been running an eno trials version (18t) for almost a year now with no problems. I've not heard about try all free wheel, I'd like to know more. From current exprience tho i'd say eno all the way.

What is this grind the tabs you speak of?

i asked tim at trialsin about the try all freewhell when i ordered my bike. he said he hadnt gotten them in yet (like a month and a half ago). theyve got a ridiculous amount of engagement points, like 108 er somethin, but he told me that they arent sealed or rebuildable. im sure being try all product that they arent shitty though. tim said he hadnt heard a whole lot about them, he recommended just to go with the eno. ive had been riding the 32 point eno for like two years er somthin and ive never had any problems with it, id totally recomend it to others.

Grinding the tabs off to make it so it has enough room between the freewheel and frame. currently I have a little less than a mm clearance because I grinded the tabs about half way.

Im also thinking on taking a facing tool and facing my bashguard so its slightly thinner. Then i wont have to grind tabs off.

Oh and the try all freewheels Do have 108 engagements. 3 offset stets of 3 pawls on a 36 (my brain is farting) notch round thingy.

Try-all freewheel are shitty!!! Don't buy this man!!!
A lot of french riders bought them and now they are complaining because it's really weak, and it breaks after 2-3 months.
Get a WI ENO, there're the best.

plus with the price difference i would go the ENO anytime... they just have a better reputation.

WI trials.

I've had mine for probobly almost 2 years now (without cleaning it or taking it apart ever)... just like 2 weeks ago i had a pawl break on me (this is the first time anything happend to it.) So i emailed W.I. and they sent me 2 replacement pawls and a spring for free!

w.i. ftw.

I had one in my hands back at France,.. and then I remembered that KING IS THE O.G.

Get a W.I. if you have to run a freewheel.
