Peter, Joel, his brother & myself went up to the CPTA comp this past Saturday. Although it was raining & wet, it cleared out by the afternoon and overall the comp went smoothly.

Peter & I were amazed at how many young kids were participating in this sport and not only they were damn good for their age but also very mature.

The first place for the Pro division was Masahi Ishiguro of Japan (ranked #2 there). Second place, John Webster, and third Jeff Anderson. I don't have all the scores and names sorry.

The kids rock, Canada simply has it figured out. Trials has a growing future there while it is dropping further off the map here. They all ride montys with maturity and technique that I didn't have at that age (bring on the maturity jokes...). The Baia gang has put in some hard work and its paying off. I'll check for the yougth class again any time.

Peter is right, the kids are the bigest reason that expert/pro guys should be on time :hsugh: and check, time, encourage the next generation.
