Saw a post not too long ago about taking a box-cutter type device and scoring/cutting a rim to get better grip. Well, for shits and giggles, I thought I would see if I could get an even better grip with a grind. And it does grip. At the expense of going through your pads at an accelerated rate. I did this a couple of weeks ago, but really haven't had a chance to ride until yesterday. After about an hour of riding, I noticed that the brake lever kept getting closer to the grip. At first I thought the cable was slipping, but it was the pads. I'm curious to see how long the pads will last. That's it.

Prolly not long. Some people sell seriously hard pads. There was another guy who was working on his own "plaz coating" dealio and he made his own really tough pads. You might ask him for some? If you'd like, I could dig it up.

Seems like it could work...only one way to find out...
And to Elan, it would seem that the bulk of your vocab/comments is made up of homosexual comments. Maybe someone is a little insecure with their sexuality:greddy:
