Well, bmx hubs are 110mm wide. Mod bikes are 116mm spaced(exept Monty, that has a 113mm rear end, because the snail cams are outside the rear triangle, not on the inside like Try-All, Echo, Zoo! and all the other frames). So, my question is, how do you use a Chris King BMX hub on a mod bike? I have a Zoo! Python 05 and I'm planning to get a CK hub for it for the next season but I don't want to make any plans before knowing exactly how it will work. :dunno:

Also, I've heard that some guy in Poland has a Monty Dualdisc mod with a Chris King BMX hub that has been fitted with an CK Isodisc hubshell :naughty: anybody knows how that can be done? (I do plan on going DD sometime in the future and wouldn't want to buy a regular CK BMX hub, if there's a possibility to get a CK bmx hub with disc mounts :squint: )

I can't get the idea.. why did he make the steel adapter? couldn't you just bolt it down to the actual frame and use a 160mm rotor that is meant to be used with that brake? Or if he wanted to run a larger rotor, he could just buy a hope +20/+40 adapter?

i already explained it to him in MSN :momaru:

anyway, if there was a mod frame that had disc mounts and a 116mm rear hub spacing wouldn't the disc mounts also be further apart, thus there would be no reason for such an adaptor :dunno: ???
