Pictures of the Caisso stock should be released by Atomz in late September, and frames will be for sale in late October.
I'm going to France Nov 1st, and might try to pick one up for a local rider here.

Giacomo told me atomz is a remanant of the french powerhouse Sunn (think mid-90's DH and XC). There were two versions of the stock in NZ, Caisso's had some more tube manipulation (looked like some possible hydroforming) versus the more plain-jane one his buddy had. Only saw one mod. Rumor had it he was only using those for the worlds and then something else, but I can't confirm that. In terms of geo the stock looked vary "Caisso like" as in not stupid long, not much if any bb up. chainstays look a little shorter than the monster 390s on the Koxx, and he could balance it perfect on anything. Apparently it does effortless taps, or that just might have been the rider... Patrick, I'll make it worth your while if you can get me one too.

Looks like a anti bar spin for bails? Beter to bend that then to pull hydro brake tubes.
Yea, I remember looking at that back in the bt.com days...

Yeah, that is Thierry. That bike was one off (or a couple just for him). I imported a couple of the production ones in '97 or so..... steel frames. The funny thing about the geometry was the head tube angle. The slackest headtube angle I have ever seen on any thing but a chopper! If I had to guess, no steeper than 69 degrees! Front wheel actually wanted to flop over when bike was sitting still.
With that headtube angle you could roll down almost anything........... conversly it also meant that it was almost imposssible to rock up onto the front wheel........

cannondale released a frame called the "beast of the east" back in the 90s. It was popular with trials riders of the time given its strength and (uuuh) trials-like geometry.
