Short Video of 2006 UCI Worlds

I haven't seen anyone posting any footage yet from the 2006 Worlds in NZ so I thought I would put up a little video. It is pretty short but at least it is something until a longer vid/DVD is available (JD has a DVD in the works I believe). I'll also have some more footage on DVD (along with local stuff) at the next Queensland comp for anyone who is ineterested.

lucky me, i just make it in time for the next comp, i go away a few days after that. not sure if i will compete or not, but i will be there for sure.

The DVD I have coming out is "edition 7", it is our regular DVD that we put out to document what has been going on in our local trials scene and also any events that Queensland riders have checked out. Edition DVDs are normally $10AUD each so they are pretty cheap if anyone wants them.

Maybe JD could post some info on the film he is working on? Sounds like a pretty comprehensive production.

Thanks for the plug Tim, Well I've been working on it since September last year, it contains footage from our National series including the national champs at Port Elliot, rider profiles from most of the best Australian riders, footage of Jack Meek from the UK from his visit to Australia and a comprehensive coverage of the World Champs in Rotorua including extended features on Joe Brewer and Thomas Oehler, also plenty of Benito, Vincent & Kenny finals action plus interviews.

Last night the editing reached the 45 minute mark but the main feature should be in excess of 1 hour when finished plus around 1 hour of extended competition and bonus footage. Its all filmed on a good quality 3CCD cam at some incredibley scenic locations, some of it has also been filmed on a crane to add more flow to the production.

Its called TRIALS IS DEAD, should be out around december or early January, available in Australia through any bike store or from www.sydneytrials.com for all you international people.

Now I'm really pleased that I posted some footage, January is going to be a long wait... still at least "Edition 7" is out in October, he he.

Keen to see the Thomas Oehler segment in TRIALS IS DEAD as I didn't get the chance to see him ride much in NZ.
