I'm seriously considering buying a 07' Monty 221pr or 221ti out of the next batch and want to know if they are strong. I know this has been covered slighty in other threads, but trying to get a straight answer is hard. I typically beat my bike very hard so I want something strong. Also is the hub spacing different on monty's?

Well as far as Monty goes with strenght, they are very dependable and can take the abuse of riding.

the rear hub on a monty is 113mm, on echo/zoo/whatever it's 116mm, the difference is, that deng mod frames have their snail cams INSIDE the rear triangle, but monty has their snail cams outside the rear triangle, but it isn't really a problem, a friend of mine had an echo team 04 and bought a monty 221ti frame, he just put some spacers on the hub(to compensate for the lack of snail cams) and put the snail cams on the outside - no problem at all.
