just basically what the title sais. What do you think are the best v brake pads around atm. i am considering just using those new magura adapters (where you use magura pads on v brakes) but not sure if they are any good. so what do you think are the best v pads on the market ?

i bougth the new white snow heatsink edition one. WTF is up with them? they often keep sticking to the rim even after you release the lever. Lockup is very good but that keeping stuck thing is annoying
Where did you get them?
I hope my red one will be as good as the white (is said to be).

i got it from germanys distributer.
They lock up good, but its a differen feel so dont be disappointed if you are not used to them
They dont lock up instantly, they take a split second longer to lock, so it seems like they have no power. After that split second they lock up pretty very good and once they stop the wheel, they hold it in place!
You have to get used to this feeling

Yes I am the Australian importer of Heatsink so you can accuse me of bias if you wish but here is my opinion.
I run Heatsink red vee pads, I love the power - more then on either my Maguras or BB7. I love the stiffness of the alloy backing, certainly someting to look for in a brake pad. I 'm running them on an Avid 5 brake.
