how do you prep to paint aluminum? i have been interested in painting my python...but don tknow how to do it.
I got bored of the look, so I stripped it a few months ago. then i got bored with the silver look so i went to black as well as building a new rear wheel.
one of my boys hook me up. all he did was strip the frame of all paint, dirt or whatever may be on it. he gave it 3 coats of primer and then another 3 coats of black paint and thats been it.

I painted my levelboss 20" in red. All you have to do is sand the varnish coat lightly.
I'll post some pics of it soon. :p
Well done on the black frame but BURN IN HELL for painting a CNC'd brakebooster. :)
