You need to put a finger on the bottom of the pad, so when you turn the allen key it doesent spin. If it spins counterclockwise put your finger at the bottom from of the pad and tighten and it should hold in place. Hope that helps some

Squeeze the brakes really hard. Make sure you have the washer in just before the bolt, otherwise it will be virtually impossible to stop it from spinning. I made that mistake once.

If you have a longer allen key with which to tighten it, use it. Otherwise use a cheater bar... It shouldn't work, but it does. You still have to keep a finger on the pad, though.

hold the pad. account for the twist in your initial positioning (slightly anticlockwise of aligned). Oil or grease on the thread and between the nut and washer.

Voila - no longer a problem.

This was driving me insane a week ago.
definetly grease like Joel mentioned. That was the best thing i did. And using the finger to stop it from twisting

Pushing down the lever has terrible results for me. To stop the pads rotating this way I have to squeeze very hard and the pads flex heaps because they are not tightened up yet. Anyways when you release they wont be flush.
