Look in the direction you want to turn. If you wind your body up your bike will follow.

I can kinda do this. Twisting your bars a bit to the direction helps. As BBB has said, just move your body and the bike will follow!
kewl thanks, will try that

over exagerate movements too...that will help make sure that you get more rotation if your head forcing your torso to move as well

Try this. If you can find a block or sturdy box that you can comfortably get your front wheel up on, try leaving your front wheel on the block while you hop your rear wheel around it. You will be hopping sideways with each hop with just a little rotation. After you can go all the way around the block pivots will be easier.
I personally think this is one of those things you can't be told how to do, you just have to go out and try it over and over. Looking where you want to go is definately good advice though. It took me quite awhile to get it down. I'm smooth turning to my left but I still have to pedal kick a bit to turn to my right ( I'm left foot forward). Try to learn without the pedal kick though, you don't want to be doing that up on something skinny.

try to hold your bike as upright as possible, i.e. have your arms bend yso that your bars are near to your body. back and legs straight, being relaxed with your knees to balance.
This especially helps when turning into your "bad" direction
