Need wheels for my Zebdi. The 48mm Try-alls are to big. Onza has a wheels set that comes pre-drilled and is 38.4mm. I don't know anything about Onza hubs. The Echo front is double walled, predrilled and sub 40, but I hear Echo hubs come apart if you hold them near a trials bike.

Anyone ride Onza rims, hubs, wheels?

Looking for a good crank too. Bonz, Try-all, Echo?

Why not try some Alex DX-32 rims? A lot of riders use them if they're not using the super wide ones now.

What single speed hub would you run with that? Surley?
I would like to run super wide, but I think the Zebdi is rim width challenged.

Onza rear hubs really don't cut it. i have a set of onza wheels and have replaced the rear hub with a hope trials. the rims are ok, but i will probably go with try-all,alex or sun next time.

Surly's flip-flop rear hub is pretty nice (had one, but sold the bike it was on). I just got one of the Alex DX-32 rims, and it's pretty nice. I'm not sure that I want one of the super-wide rims as this seems to cut it pretty well.

Thank you peted. Was that a fixed rear hub or a freewheel? I am looking at a set of BT wheels, but the Onza wheels cost a lot less. I am looking for a fixed hub.

it was a freewheel hub, and that is what i am sticking with for the moment. The rims need to be good, but spend big and get the best hub you can. you will always grind your rim and have to replace them, with any luck the hub will last for years.

The Onza hubs are pretty shite. Mine only lasted for a few months. Rims are preety good though, im still learning so they cop a fair beating and their still in good condition. The only problem i now have is there isn't as many hubs for a 36 spoke rim, so im replacing my rear rim to a 32.
