Anyone played around with Google Trends (http://www.google.com/trends) from Google Labs?

There's quite a disclaimer at the bottom, but I performed a search for the trends on search terms "bike trials" and "biketrial." Naturally, the two terms are more popular in different regions of the world, but it's cool to see the trends broken down to the top cities even.

Here are the results I got, you can click on the title to view the Google Trends page yourself.

Bike Trials (http://www.google.com/trends?q=bike+trials&ctab=1&geo=all&date=all)
> Regions

> Cities

BikeTrial (http://www.google.com/trends?q=biketrial&ctab=1&geo=all&date=all)
>Regions
http://www.dustinaskins.com/images/biketrial_regions-001.gif

> Cities

Of course these numbers are based on internet users, so it's not an accurate measure of trials popularity in the various regions, but it's a decent measure I thought. I was a little surprised that France was so far behind, I dont know if that's because:
1. They dont use the internet as much?
2. Google doesnt index .fr searches in this data?
3. Are they searching for "velo trial?"
4. Many other variables...

Many terms dont have enough data associated with them to produce any reports, but I saw the "Koxx" did, it's most popular in France.

Post up anything you find. :Sonic:
