Anyone ever had, or even scene one of these guys before. I was riding in Government center a few years back and some guy was riding this frame.
They sure have come along way with mod bike geo..

I think he also said the frame was steel and I think the headset was threaded as well..

I had one of those for a little while, the frame is aluminum and it has a 1.25" (yes 1 1/4") threaded headset.

I remember seeing guys riding those when I frist started riding trials!
them and the GT mod bikes. yea they look a little different then the bikes we have these days .
Just be thankfull for all the bikes we have now. when I started riding there were very few trials bikes and the designs sucked.

I went into my local bike shop a few months ago and there was a kid that had this exact bike. I talked to him and he said that the guy that sold it to him said it was a BMX.
I rode with him for a week or so trying to show him some of the basics of trials, but he gave up pretty easy and was content trying to ride it as a BMX. :dunno:

I had one...but it was a Crestone Peak (same thing)....was a hunk of shit...but cheap, at the time, compared to the Monty which was much more. Full retain at the time was $750 vs. Monty at $1200. Marc Brooks, the 9x (i think) National champ before JJ rode for Ross and had a few of these...

I snapped the bars, stem (it came with a threaded 1-1/4"headset), bashguard, bashguard mounts inside frame, headtube, chainstay and broke magura mounts off seat stays....
