Hi,
Here's an update on the 24UK frame which has been out of stock for a over a month. The first batch sold quicker than expected which i can't compain about!
The second batch has just arrived and this time we have larger quantities and 4x the colour choice too.

Also, due to demand we're starting to get a matching 24" fork in stock. In future this will come in colours that match all the 24UK frames.

All the details can be found on the HeatsinkBikes website, including individual photos of the different colours and full specs. Check out this page:

From feedback so far, it seems that all white frames will be all sold soon!
As ever, I'm listening to all your feedback!

yeah, disc tabs are my question too. we'll see how they hold up. I've been wanting to build a 24" myself but with more than one company making them now I may just give in.

Thanks for your responses so far :)
On the topic of disc mounts, at first I did think that rather than making wild claims about the incredible strength of the disc mount, there was an arguement for taking it off the frame altogether.
I guess I've seen too many frames being sold on the disc mount supposedly being revolutionarily strong with trials use in mind. Often the removal of material on the dropouts creates stress risers for this mount that far out weigh the few 10s of grams saved in weight.
I think that this simple 24UK mount design is stronger than many I have seen but still not the revolutionary design others promise but have not lived up to the hype. I think trials riders are an educated group of guys/gals! They know that in the long run disc mounts are going to fail before 4 bolt mounts due to the forces on the disc tab being so much higher because of their relatively proximity to the axle.
I hope leaving the disc mount on is something you guys approve of and I haven't misunderstood!
Out of interest, what colour do you think will be the most popular?
I'm shipping these frames around the world if anyone does want to get their hands on one.
The postage is really good, fully insured and trackable airmail postage (typically 5-10 days), here are some typical prices to bring the frame to your doorsteps:
550 $ US
623 $ Can
733 $ Aus
871 $ Singapore
4391 China Yuan Renminbi
^ Frame + Posting (Of this final cost, 15.8% of this is the postage)
385 Euros
^ Frame + Posting to locations in Europe.
The complete list of postage prices to any location in the world can be found on the 24UK page of my site:

yeah. I know what you mean with all of the claims. I just wonder what happened to the idea of putting the tabs inside the triangle. granted you then have to leave room for the caliper but it just seemed like a worthwhile idea. I'd most likely run maggies anyways but I just seeing how the world of rear disc on trials is coming along. at some point I hope that it takes over. disc just simplifies a lot of things. thanks for keeping us in mind though when you designing these.
o yeah, keeping them is definitely a good idea even if they're not "perfect" disc tabs. trials riders love options.

Leaving the disc tabs outside of the triangle allows riders to use cable-actuated brakes like the Avid. Though I haven't tried myself, it doesn't look like you can fit an Avid in most of the other frames.

sorry to bump but I was afotn at the time
I ride the bike in silver, and let me say, its great:)
I definatly prefer it over the 26inch bikes, and i belive that 24 makes a ton of sense for many riders. if you have any questions regarding the bike I would be happy to answer them
