Doing demos? I thought the French Championship was soooooo important pour les Francais??
Chris
07-18-2006, 01:16 PM
Yea demos. I guess the simple reason is earning money! Especially for the Coustelliers, at least one of them. And I suppose the main reason for the Coustelliers not taking part at the World Cup rounds, is that they don't have the money to travel around that much. The only appear at local french championships and the UCI worlds.

you mean selling a few frames didnt make them instantly and forever rich?
Obviously not ;) The frames were totally overpriced, at least at the beginning. They were like 800 euros if I remember right. After a few months they lowered the price and now it is at 470.
The "Coust Compagnie" wasn't as successfull as they had hoped :sadwavey:

Nice pics Sergio. :)
Something which slightly annoys me i see every time i go on your site, the photo of the motor trialist. Using the blur & layer masks in Photoshop, can give some great effects in recreating a longer/faster lens, but I just think it's overdone/done badly in this case! Especially around the edges, and through the spokes. :P
Just IMO of course, the first pic on a site should give a good impression, and to me it's not as good as the rest. :)
Loving the attention to detail on that pink bike though, haha.
