How do i change the sprocket on a fixed cog rear wheel? Does it recuire any special tools?

Grinder, grind it flat untill you see the thread's coming through, it will look like small lines.
Then put a screwdriver on one of the teeth and whack it with a hammer.

You can use a beefy chain whip with a pipe for extra help. Also wear gloves to avoid stripping your skin in case the whip gets loose.

Doesnt sound so smart...would it be any different if i was supposed to use the hub and sprocket for a different bike?
Chain whip.
Or you can take off the lock ring (if you have one), put the wheel on a bike that does NOT have a front freewheel, and pedal backwards. If you have any leg strength at all, that cog will spin off fast.
