View Full Version : Video from Buttermilk Falls

This video was taken at one of my favorite spots over the years. The falls is near Long Lake in the Adirondacks. NY picked up a bunch of rain that week and the falls had much more water flowing over it than usual and 1/3 of the riding was under water. There was still fun to be had.

Like mordax mentioned, it is a pretty popular place people visit/swim in the Adirondacks. I think I read somewhere it is the most popular falls in the ADKs? It's main attraction is you seriously walk 300 feet from the road and you're there. There were a quite a few people and I sometimes had to wait for them to get off my rocks :greddy:

Pretty cool spot.

It's funny to watch peoples expressions as they watch someone ride trials. They have no clue why someone would want to hop on a bunch of rocks. You even had a few random people taking pics of you.

You hugged that tree pretty good! Ouch!
