anyways, so since i have been banned from the forum i went into my garage and got very creative.

first things first, i am a broke ass and have to think of clever ideas to fix my bike or replace parts.

so to the bashring,
I was thinking how could i make one for my fixed cranks?
so i thought about using a normal 22 tooth 4 bolt ring.
i measured it up to my cog and it fit, so i drilled 3 holes into the 20 tooth fixed cog, then i took the 22 tooth ring put a chain around it and cut it to length and pinned it on then bolted it all together.

i took it out for a test ride today, and it works Great! haha it realy does i smashed on it a few times and it held up!
im surprised that this ghetto little idea realy works :wiggle: haha

i dont realy care much about the weight. i mean its a 22 tooth granny ring
with a some chain around it. i bet it weighs the same as any other bashring.

i would think that the teeth on the cog will brake before/when the chain brakes. or maybe it will just get the shit bent out of it? very clever though, i like it :)

its too bad I didn't have any of my old wipperman chain scraps lying around still, I just remembered how phat it was, and it would make an evil looking bash style. I'll take a look tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure I gave them away.
