Unfortunetly after trying to contact the events corrordinator for Seven Springs since January I FINALLY herd back from him to get the bad news that The Seven Springs Mountain Resort has a new insurance policy in which it wouldn't be possible to run a trials competition. I was taking the position of event director for this compeition because I need to copelete a senior project to graduate high school. Now I am stuck to either find a new project or to run a different competition. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. Thanks,
-Mikey

You could always organize a demo at a local bike shop or race. Might be easier than setting up a competition. Depending what your senior project requirements are, it could probably work.

That sucks! Iwas gonna go to that! Keep us posted if you are planning any others.
Well, maybe now I can convince my wife to go to Arkansas for that comp down there!

Thanks for the replys I'm just as dissapointed as you guys are if not more. Hey Brandon, I'll be a senior next year so I gotta start this thing now, so I have no idea where I'm going, ahah. A Demo isn't a bad idea, espically because I work at a bikeshop there, and I bet the owners would be up for that and would help me (money wise I guess if it was at/for our shop). If I do a demo would any riders expert/pros specifically willing to come down to or near Pittsburgh? Other riders are welcome to help and hang out if you would want. As of now this is just an idea and I also havn't done any more. My other idea was to continue this compeition at RaysMTB but I have yet to talk with Ray or anyone there. If anyone here knows how to help in any way, that would be great. Thanks for all the support,
-Mikey

Nice Liger. You could trump the promoter by getting your own insurance for the trials event.
You could make a hunting safety video and blow your index toe off accidentally like a friend of mine from highschool.
