Remember when the Coustellier was the greatest trials frame ever made in the entire universe for all of space-time*?

*assuming the many worlds hypothesis

Well now you can own one.

I purchased this from Digby last August or so to stage my ill fated comeback to trials. My comeback lasted until this January when I snapped a chain and messed up my knee real good. You can see that I haven’t even replaced the chain since then. (Although, I have purchased one and the bike will definitely ship with one.)

Also, I think I can manage to clean the bike up a little bit before it ships. It’s just that I only had a few hours to borrow a digicam and didn’t manage to wipe the bike down.

Digby went a little crazy stickering up the bike when it was in his possession, I went a little crazy destickering it when I got it home. The one downtube sticker is the only remaining one that still identifies this as the real thing.

This bike comes with a King wheelset (the olde tymey disc adaptor hubs) laced in the rear to a DX32 and in the front an alex Supra B (rhino lite wide, alex strong + disc specific), both hubs have new axles (not heavy duty), bearings and a steel driveshell for the rear.
Koxx Forxx (destickered)
8 inch avid + XTR lever.
Thomson Stem
Tryall bar
ODI lockon grips
HS33 rear brake + plaz pads
Tensile isis cranks
18-15 tryall + king cog
Tires that work (I can throw in a used Michelin 24.1 if you don’t like the mobster)
Ultegra derailleur as a tensioner
Sum kinda pedals
Unimpressive aheadset

No parting out!

$1100 including shipping to USA. If you want this thing and you live outside of the US, it’s no problem, just let me know and I’ll look up shipping rates.

Are you doing much road riding these days? We should meet in Sonoma or Marin and do a ride. Or HMB so I can say goodbye to all the Bay Area trials riders.

I'm gonna laugh my ass off when you call me up in 6 months to ask if I have a spare frame lying around that I can sell you.

Marin sounds good sometime.

ah the irony of a for sale forum on a trials board.

Trials stuff aint cheap and most trials riders are flat broke.
