I think the demo is going to be great, I'll definetly be there. I usually ride with Tom and Brian a lot, it'll be good to see Ed push these guys to throw it down...monster style.
THEDMAN:werd:
I'd be down for a ride after, Boston is right next door as well.

The demo is actually in Boston (barely) it's on the Boston side of the Meridian st bridge. Unless you were talking about downtown. Just saying that to clarify, because the directions in the link take you to the Chelsea side of the bridge and the demo is on the opposite side. But it's just a short ride/walk to the other side of the bridge.
I'm hoping I'll have time for a group ride, I have to pack up all the shit in the truck, take the truck home, take all the shit out and return the truck.
There may actually be some pretty cool shit in Eastie, I've scoped out a few things, after exhausting it's possibilities would could take the T back downtown(only 1 stop to Aquarium).
Glad you can all make it.
We may have a special surprise rider as well :naughty:

Yup, I was talking about downtown Boston. Actually if anyone is interested, there is an ok skatepark in easty. It's located at 312 Border St Boston, MA 02128-1634, I rode there a few times after it was built.
CU out at the demo tomorrow,

I think we all have to give a big thanks to Erik for organizing and Building/bringing all of the obstacles. Thanks to Jodi (Erik's gf) too, if I remmeber she had a hand in this as well. I had a great time and I think it went pretty well. BTW I need to ride more with Ed so I can get my taps to suck less.

Yeah, big thanks to Erik and Jodi. Great riding guys. It has me inspired to ride more and actually work on trials specific skills. I should at least be able to tap the 40" box and the spool...you make it look so effortless compared to my bunnyhops.
Anybody up for hitting purgatory early this week? Teach me how to tap better and I'll teach you how to use kickers! :naughty:
Erik, let us know if any of the pics or video came out!

Bryan did a stellar job recording a bunch of footage, it may take me a while to edit this. Thanks Bryan.
Big thanks to Bryan Y, Tom, Trevor and Ed for riding. I think it went really well. I had my doubts that I'd get everything ready in time, but the effort was all worth it. I always had in the back of my mind that even if I had a 2x4 and few pallets with the quality of riders involved it would have been a huge success. Thanks guys!

I'm just curious...was this demo just for fun, sponsored, or what (why did it take place?)? Was there some event in Boston that this was part of?
It sounds like it was a lot of fun. I just hate going to cities. I'm looking forward to the photos and vid.

The demo was part of the Chelsea River Revel which is a festival to benefit Chelsea Creek Action Group. The CCAG promotes the clean-up of the creek and the creation of green space out of previously industrial areas.
