CT rocks ride, Sat June 17

I'm trying to get a group ride in this Sat. June 17th, 10:00 am until ?

LAST WEEKEND TO PRACTICE BEFORE THE RACCOON RALLY!!!!!!!

Crandall Park, Tolland, CT. It's only 1.1 miles off Route 84 (UConn exit), so hopefully some of you guys from MA can make it down.

There are facilities there, and riding is legal (plenty of mountain bikers go there).

Directions: Take exit 68 off Route 84 (UConn exit). Go North on Route 195 for about 1/4 mile. Take left onto Cider Mill Extension. At stop sign, go left onto Cider Mill Road. Go about 8/10 of a mile, and take your 2nd right into Crandall 2 (Lodge entrance). Do not go into the 1st Crandall entrance at the playground. There will be a small parking lot on the right...go past this and park in the large open dirt parking lot, just over the hill.

Make sure you park near the rock wall so we can all gap to your car

Brian, I just saw that you're doing a demo in Boston on Sat. Cool.

I might be able to ride on Sunday, but I'm probably going to hang out with my Dad...father's day!

You should come up and check out this place in Tolland some time...it's nice.

Yeah, I can ride later than 8:00.

I was hoping for a larger amount of riders, but there is a demo in Boston, so I think most guys are going to that. Since no one had shown interest in riding in Tolland, I figured I'd be riding by myself, so I'd go early.

Let me know what time you'd like to ride.

10:00 would be great. I'm glad someone's coming!!!!!!

This place is similar to Case Mountain, but not as many rocks (Case is littered with them!). BUT the rocks are right near the parking lot (no trail riding!).
