I just had to post cause I was thrilled to see my son finally excited to ride his mod that I just got him a few months ago.
I didnt want to push him, and it paid off, he is wanting to learn now and even talking about entering a comp in the future.
It's an older mod, but when I bought it, it was pretty much brand new condition. (Monty X-hydra 219)

I don't know dude... I don't think it would be any different. There are a lot of girls out there that kick ass in this sport.
I am glad that I have two boys, but for different reasons. heh heh

LOL!! Thats ok, he should grow out of it. When I was little I use to make a paste out of the kitty litter and the dogs food and "wash" the walls with it.
Just a suggestion... write down all the funny and bizarre things that he does. You most likely wont remember all the things that he did when he is older.
My kids get a kick out of hearing about all the things they did when they were little.

Writing down things sounds like a great idea. I'll do that when I have my own kids (assuming I don't become sterile before then). Awesome to see a second generation trialser.

Yeah, he is 11. He's pretty big for 11. He wears a mens size 11 sneaker and is 5ft 6 inches tall. (I've never seen a kid eat so much food!)
My youngest is 6. He said he wants to get into trials when he gets bigger too.

Oh he does! We sit together and watch almost all the videos that are posted on here. We are both really impressed with the level of riding that is found on this site!
I know for me... a good video really motivates me to want to go out and ride and strive for more.

Damn that's great! i have a 13 yr old that does the whole trials and skate boarding. Cant make up his mind which one is better. But oh well he'll do great either way.
My son will do trials, whether he likes it or not.
If he doesnt, I will hit him.

LOL - Yeah, I am hoping that he doesnt get TOO TALL! He has a cousin that is 6'3 and is 13 yrs old!!
I'm 6'1 and I know that he is gonna be taller than me! As long as he knows that his old man can still take him, it will all be good.
