Grinding

Hey,
what angle grinder disk should I use to grind my rim and what is the difference in grinding between the different disks? :dunno:

Use a grinding disk, doesn't really matter what size. Usually a bigger grinder makes an uglier grind which works better.

Dont use a cutting disk, or anything other than one meant for grinding. Otherwise you'll get a smooth finish which doesn't do shit. And use a new disk, not some old worn out one with round edges.

Ok, but how fast will my pads get worn ?I mean will they last around a month or less ? I haven`t been riding with grind, so - sorry for the stupid questions :rolleyes:

Your pads assuming you buy plaz pads or koxx bloxx which are designed for a grind will last you over a month easily.

A 4 1/2 inch grinding disk i find works the best, anymore at it takes off too much from your wheel and smaller just doesn't work well enough.
